Programmed is currently recruiting for Experienced HR truck drivers to assist our client in Tamworth. Our client is a leader in asphalt paving, pavement construction and maintenance providing asphalt products and materials for surfacing and maintenance of road networks.

About your new role:

  • Monday to Friday, day work with potential to work weekends
  • Work based around Tamworth areas however some projects may require travel and overnight stays which would incur overnight travel allowances
  • Conducting daily pre-checks on vehicles
  • Safe and proficient operations of a heavy rigid vehicle to cart and deliver bituminous products
  • Navigating safely on NSW roads and through high traffic road work areas
  • Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle and reporting any faults to management
  • Promoting a positive public image and interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner

What we are looking for:

  • Hold a current HR licence or higher with 3+ years operating experience
  • Have own reliable traport to get to and from work
  • Hold a white card
  • Available to work Monday to Friday and potential weekends
  • Willingness to travel for work and stay away overnight when required
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
  • Able to provide a clean RMS driving record and participate in online inductions
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical, functional capacity evaluation and drug and alcohol screening
  • Able to provide current and relevant work referees
