Maintenance / General Go-Kart Mechanic

Are you a "jack of all trades" who loves working with your hands? Do you enjoy fixing things and have a knack for problem-solving? Auscarts in Port Melbourne is looking for a dedicated and reliable person to join our team as a full-time Go-Kart Maintenance & Mechanic.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and isn't afraid of a challenge. You don't need formal qualifications or extensive experience to apply—we provide full, on-the-job training to get you up to speed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing routine maintenance on our fleet of go-karts.
  • Track / Barrier maintenance
  • Mig / Tig welding
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
  • Part ordering
  • Venue Maintenance
  • General repairer
  • Ensuring all karts are in top condition and safe for our customers to use.
  • Assisting with general workshop duties.

What we're looking for:

  • A hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Problem solver
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience working on cars, trucks, or small engines is a bonus, but not essential. A general handyman background is also highly valued.
  • A valid driver's license is a must.
