Workshop Motor Mechanic

Location: Sunshine North

Hourly Rate: Competitive + Super


About Us

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join a well-established transport service provider with a strong reputation built over two decades. The role involves a mix of servicing, fault repair, and general maintenance, including work with tyres and wheel alignments.

This position offers flexibility and would also suit a semi-retired tradesperson.


The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in both petrol and diesel vehicles
  • Detailed report keeping of vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Performing routine servicing and maintenance
  • Working with tyres, including fitting and balancing
  • Performing wheel alignments
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to high quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
  • Experience working on both petrol and diesel engines
  • Solid experience in general servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair
  • A current Australian driver's licence
  • A reliable and flexible attitude – ideal for someone semi-retired and still passionate about the trade
