GTNT Group in partnership with City of Darwin are now recruiting for a Youth Programs Trainee.

This fantastic opportunity can be undertaken in a variety of qualifications depending on the successful candidate's experience and interests.

Qualifications that are under consideration are:

  • Certificate IV in Business
  • Certificate IV in Community Services
  • Certificate III or IV in Sport and Recreation
  • Certificate III or IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

  • C Class Driver's Licence
  • Working with Children's Check (Ochre Card)
  • Completion of Year 10

The Registered Training Organisation and nominal duration of the Traineeship will be dependent upon selected qualification. This can be discussed further with our recruitment team.

The Traineeship position assist the Youth Programs team to deliver on Council's strategic plans.

The range of duties may include:

  • Planning of youth events
  • Stakeholder communications
  • Design and production of documents
  • Supporting marketing and social media activities
  • Logistical support such as collecting and loading resources, set up and pack down of events and activities
