Huts & Decks WA is a family owned & operated business with over 40 years of experience in the building industry.

An opportunity has opened for a full-time Trade Assistant/Labourer to become part of our team, with good rates for the right person.

Enjoy a variety of outdoors, onsite work – our alfresco structures range from Backyard Cabins, Gazebos, Timber framed Patios, Bali Huts and Pergolas.

Hourly rate to be negotiated depending on skill set.

This role is casual to begin with, with the opportunity to progress to a full-time position.

  • 4 day work week: Mon - Thurs (38 hrs)

Our Display Centre and workshop is based in Furnissdale, with most residential work sites located within the metro area. Standard 38 hour week is from Monday – Thursday.

Requirements:
  • WA Driver's licence
  • White card
  • Fit and able to manage heavy lifting of materials
  • Willing to drive small truck to job sites
Preferences:
  • Construction experience is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Well presented
  • Mindful and respectful of working in domestic environments
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic
Role includes:
  • Assisting the onsite construction team where needed
  • Driving a small truck (C Class license)
  • Loading and unloading building materials
  • Site cleanups
  • Some workshop painting/staining
  • Yard work assistance when needed
  • General maintenance work
