Wetherill Park, Australia GENNERAL STAIRCASE Full time $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Key Skills & Attributes:

· Prepare mechanical designs and specifications.

· Create design interfaces for CNC and other advanced machinery.

· Prepare engineering calculations, 3D modelling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

· Provide engineering expertise to resolve or to make recommendations for the resolution of technical design issues.

· Review construction drawings to enable correct production and installation of required work.

· Assist in preparation of engineering reports and preliminary specifications as well as provide technical input for tender preparation as required.

· Work on various on-site projects from concept to completion.

· Liaise and inform departments of relevant information to ensure they know what to expect during all facets of production.

· Maintain machinery to a high standard.

· Design tools and cutters for advance machinery.

· Tool making

· Machine Operator Trainer – Assist in the provision of Training in conjunction with supervisors and staff.

· Specialist Machine Operator – Perform set-up operations to maximise efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

· Minimum of 10 years' experience as Team Leader to Senior Mechanical Engineer either locally or internationally

· Experience in construction and/or manufacturing industries.

· Experience in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD Programs.

· Experience in maintaining high end CNC machinery.

· Understanding of LEAN manufacturing / continuous improvement processes - highly desirable.

· The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.

· Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.

· Ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner.

· Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
