We are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled 
Senior Interior Architect / Designer
 to lead and deliver a diverse range of projects from concept through to completion.

About the Role

This senior position is ideal for a confident, detail-oriented designer with strong technical capability and a refined design sensibility. You will work across both commercial and residential projects, taking ownership of design development, documentation, consultant coordination, and client presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead concept development, space planning, and design direction across multiple project types
  • Produce high-quality drawing packages, documentation, and specifications
  • Oversee project delivery from design through to completion
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Manage timelines, project workflows, and design standards within the studio
  • Ensure design outcomes are functional, inspiring, and aligned with client objectives
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a positive studio culture

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in interior architecture / interior design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing commercial and residential work
  • Advanced proficiency in Advanced proficiency in
    Vectorworks
    (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of BCA, compliance, materials, and construction detailing
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proven experience managing projects independently
  • Strong design sensibility with an ability to balance aesthetics and practical outcomes
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work to deadlines with consistency
