What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the charge on WHS: Design and deliver WHS frameworks, policies, and practices-including for third-party operations.
  • Ensure compliance excellence: Monitor regulatory and internal compliance across retail locations, including responsible gambling and licensing.
  • Audit and assess: Conduct regular inspections and audits, identify risks, and ensure proactive mitigation and resolution.
  • Empower and educate: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver targeted training that drives real behaviour change.
  • Champion culture: Be the voice of safety and compliance, encouraging continuous improvement across the retail network.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in WHS and compliance, ideally in a multi-site or retail environment
  • A strong understanding of WHS legislation, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards
  • A passion for driving cultural change through influence and education
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • An analytical, problem-solving mindset and practical approach to risk
  • Relevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Risk Management or Compliance (Cert IV or higher preferred)
  • Bonus points if you've worked in retail, hospitality, or a similar operationally complex industry-or are familiar with TAB operations.
