About us
Moreton ATSICHS operates a growing network of healthcare clinics for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our model of care provides holistic health and wellbeing services to support our Community across their lifespan. We bring together primary care, allied health, dental, mental health and wellbeing, maternity and early childhood, disability services, specialist services, and aged care as one team focussed on clients' individual needs and goals.

About the role
Working as a Wellbeing Support Worker, no two days are the same — just like the Mob we work with We focus on the person, not their challenges. That means we take the time to listen, yarn, and build trust. You'll be part of a deadly team that backs each other up and works together to break down barriers for our community.
Your days will vary from supporting Mob to complete applications (e.g. housing, centrelink), assisting Mob to access resources and services in the community, assisting with group activities or sitting with someone until they feel ready to take the next step. We walk alongside Mob, not ahead, at their pace not ours.
Within this role, you will be required to:
- At IUIH 'Our Collectivity is Our Strength'.
- Ensure engagement of natural supports and networks to compliment funded services and assist in supported decision making where relevant and consistent with customer preferences.
- Keep abreast of and up to date service options and promote to the client's available services and supports relevant to their plan.
- Promote the services of MATSICHS clinics at events and activities targeted to and/or involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples based within the North Brisbane catchment area.
- Keep accurate, case notes, statistics and other client records and files up to date.
