About the Role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and caring leader to join our SIL team You'll play a vital part in supporting our direct support team members, ensuring our participants receive the highest standard of care and support in line with their individual needs and goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Roster management for support team members
- Manage the everyday tasks in the home
- Monitor absenteeism and escalate as needed
- Manage a team of disability support workers at one site/home
- Ensure Support Plans are current and followed
- Uphold NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct & Policies and Procedures
- Foster community inclusion for participants
- Support ongoing training, compliance, and career development for your team
- Mentor and share knowledge in a two-way learning environment
- Complete Manager reviews and follow-up actions
Essential Requirements:
- Positive criminal history screening clearance & Yellow Card
- Cert 3 or above in Disability and Support (or equivalent)
- NDIS worker orientation module completed
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
- Experience in the disability sector
- Experience in Manager/Leadership role
- Eligible to work in Australia
