About the Role

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and caring leader to join our SIL team You'll play a vital part in supporting our direct support team members, ensuring our participants receive the highest standard of care and support in line with their individual needs and goals.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Roster management for support team members
  • Manage the everyday tasks in the home
  • Monitor absenteeism and escalate as needed
  • Manage a team of disability support workers at one site/home
  • Ensure Support Plans are current and followed
  • Uphold NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct & Policies and Procedures
  • Foster community inclusion for participants
  • Support ongoing training, compliance, and career development for your team
  • Mentor and share knowledge in a two-way learning environment
  • Complete Manager reviews and follow-up actions

Essential Requirements:

  • Positive criminal history screening clearance & Yellow Card
  • Cert 3 or above in Disability and Support (or equivalent)
  • NDIS worker orientation module completed
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in the disability sector
  • Experience in Manager/Leadership role
  • Eligible to work in Australia
