The Role
We're seeking an Electrical/HVAC Technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. You'll partner with our clients and the BGIS team to deliver high-quality technical services that keep facilities safe, reliable, and efficient. This role combines electrical and HVAC expertise to ensure building systems operate at peak performance through safe, compliant, and proactive maintenance practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across cooling and ventilation systems

• Inspect, maintain, and service chillers, split systems, and package units

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance in accordance with BGIS standards

• Maintain and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS)

• Carry out electrical maintenance, testing, and repairs safely and efficiently

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through reliable, quality service delivery

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (minimum requirement)

• Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCTick)

• Restricted or full Electrical Licence

• White Card (General Construction Induction)

• Current manual driver's licence

• 1–5 years' experience in a similar HVAC/electrical maintenance role

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Self-motivated, safety-focused, and proactive approach to work

• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
