About the role

We're seeking a highly skilled FIFO Dual Trade HVAC Electrician to join our dynamic team at Independent Energy Systems' in Perth, WA. As a casual employee, you'll have the opportunity to work as an embedded contractor with a tier one mining company. This is a great chance to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, challenging environment and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

This is a short term role with the possibility of extension, commencing 7th of November on a 2/2 roster until the 9th of march.

  • November 4th - 17th
  • December 2nd - 15th
  • December 30th - January 12th
  • January 27th - February 9th
  • February 24th - March 9th

What you'll be doing

  • Undertake electrical and HVAC installations, maintenance and repair work for commercial and industrial clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all work undertaken

What we're looking for

  • Dual trade qualification in Electrical and Refrigeration
  • Extensive experience as an Electrician and HVAC Technician, ideally in a FIFO or remote working environment
  • Experience with Roy hill systems and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your work
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Current driver's licence and the ability to obtain the necessary site access and security clearances
