Short Summary

Our Story:

The a2 Milk Company, driven by science and a pioneering spirit, disrupted the dairy and infant milk formula industry. Our vision is to create an A1-free world where dairy nourishes all people and our planet.

The a2 Milk Company seeks to achieve this through the naturally occurring a2 Milk difference and by bringing a more sustainable approach to dairy.

More about the role

At The a2 Milk Company, we like to do things differently. Driven by our pioneering spirit, we are on a mission to create a world where dairy is A1-free and better for people and the planet. Now, we're looking for a Supply Chain Capability Partner to help build the skills, knowledge, and leadership that keep our supply chain performing at its best.

Based at our Smeaton Grange site, you will design, deliver, and embed learning and development programs that lift capability across our manufacturing and supply chain operations. From writing work instructions and compliance modules for new team members to building leadership skills and technical expertise, you'll partner with site leaders to ensure our people have the tools, systems, and confidence to excel.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and priorities.
  • Design and roll out onboarding programs, SOPs, and competency frameworks.
  • Develop engaging training content for technical, compliance, and leadership capability.
  • Manage and optimise our Learning Management System (LMS), tracking progress and reporting on impact.
  • Partner with operational leaders, SMEs, and external providers to align training with strategic goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement, embedding best practice and supporting operational excellence.

More about You.

Bring your experience building capability within a fast-paced supply chain environment and join a collaborative, purpose-driven business where your work will directly impact operational performance and employee growth. We're a global brand with bold ambitions, and we empower our people to innovate, lead, and grow alongside us.

Your background and skills will look something like this;

  • 3–5 years in a learning and development or training role, ideally within FMCG or supply chain/manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering training programs and managing LMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of supply chain operations and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) highly regarded.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
  • A passion for capability building and creating a positive, safety-first culture.

If you're ready to make a tangible difference to our people and our products, apply now and help us build a supply chain that's as unique as our milk.

Why join a2?
