JOB OVERVIEW
McCANN has an exciting opportunity to work on one of our top global accounts, Microsoft, as a
PROGRAM MANAGER
. This role sits in the
PARTNER MARKETING
team, with a specific focus on Microsoft's Partner marketing campaigns, events, and activity planning.
This role reports to the McCANN Global Partner Marketing Lead and works closely with stakeholders at Microsoft. They collaborate across functions to deliver successful Global Partner Solutions (GPS) focused marketing campaigns and events.
The role is a trusted advisor that ensures the landing of global programs in the Partner Marketing program. The Program Manager coordinates across several functional areas including partner agencies, measurement, events and is the go-to resource for the Partner Marketing campaigns.
Through relevant training, the successful individual will become a subject matter expert on all things Partner, able to consult and provide recommendations to the relevant Microsoft stakeholders. This is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to the client working across both campaigns and events.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
You will support and enable marketing program execution, providing expertise in Events and Integrated Marketing Campaigns. This includes end-to-end planning, execution and tracking program performance. You will project manage and operationalize campaigns throughout the year. As part of the team, you will play a major role in ensuring the success of integrated marketing, events and driving continual improvement and measurement of future events. You also need to have the capability to understand Microsoft's Partner Marketing Strategy at the deep level and build an enduring relationship with the clients as a trusted partner. In this role, you'll be strongly expected to leverage your communications and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth collaboration between Microsoft and Microsoft's Partners to maximize the business impact.
Service Management:
Overall accountability for campaign deliverables and is the single point of contact for our clients.

Planning & Set-up:
Attends campaign planning meetings, interprets the objectives, breaks them down into tasks and then executes them using standardised tools. This includes a wide array of tasks such as project planning, ensuring data flow through the relevant systems and setting expectations around delivery.

Execution & Project Management:
This role acts in project management capacity once the set up and plans are aligned. They are integral to the end-to-end execution and ensuring that the processes are followed and assigns accountabilities to the various stakeholders in the process.
Service Deployment & Readiness:
Drives service quality, consistency & innovation through leading practice sharing and overall participation and cooperation in the marketing services community.
Team player:
Working closely with the team to ensure that the team is briefed on all area and global initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engages with functional stakeholders to set expectations on service delivery. Provides consultative support and recommendations, collaborating with Regional Leads and Global leads.
Global Community Engagement:
Shares best practices with Team Leads across the region and participates in community calls.
Best Practice Sharing:
Curates and showcases Area finding and practices and shares these with the global community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Competencies/Skills:
· Proven skills in written and verbal communications
· Solid experience in client servicing and account management
· Intermediate to advanced project management strategies and tools
· Basic business, systems, and process analysis
· Demonstrated understanding of marketing communications tools and execution, both online and offline.
· Ability to articulate and evangelize services with stakeholders
· Relationship management, collaboration and conflict resolution skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft brand and products
Required Experience:
· University degree
· years marketing communications (agency or client side) with a focus on event marketing and virtual events.
· Client service or account management background
