Who We Are
In Melbourne, water is essential to our way of life.
As caretakers for Melbourne's water cycle, we care for water, life and land throughout Melbourne: both its people and its biodiversity.
Each time you drink from the tap, flush a toilet, run through a backyard sprinkler, or kayak down the Yarra, we're there. Primed and ready, quietly delivering some of the world's cleanest water for over five million residents and wildlife that call Melbourne home, just as we have for over 130 years.
If you value making it count, diving in with curiosity, and doing what's right, you're in the right place.
About The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Group Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team on a full-time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic coordination and operational support, ensuring the effective delivery of group programs and work plans. You will play a key role in driving transformation initiatives, managing monthly reporting, and coordinating projects for the Corporate Services Senior Leadership Group (SLG).
You will also oversee the administration of monthly PLG operational meetings and present a cohesive dashboard to track progress across Corporate Services.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate the development and execution of group programs and work plans, including financial, administrative, systems, information management, and customer service activities.
- Lead and manage group reporting against agreed performance and timeline targets, including monthly reporting.
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Corporate Services SLG.
- Lead and coordinate project-related tasks and general administration as agreed with the EGM.
- Organise and facilitate quarterly cross-team meetings.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a medium to large corporate environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service focus, with experience engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly developed organisational skills and flexibility to manage competing priorities within strict timelines.
- Experience in coordinating programs and ensuring adherence to key milestones.
- Strong attention to detail and project coordination capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
