Job Title: Area Manager – SNAP FITNESS (Concord West, Beaumont Hills & North Kellyville)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations and growth of multiple gym locations.

Position Overview:

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic direction of several gym locations within your designated area. You will lead a team of General Managers and support staff, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple gym locations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility management.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, membership retention, and market expansion.

• Train, mentor, and motivate General Managers and staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational benchmarks to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with the marketing department to execute local marketing initiatives, promotional events, and community outreach efforts.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all locations.

• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional development.

• Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and individual gym locations, providing feedback, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Certificate III & IV in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.

• Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).

• Must have appropriate police/working with children check.

• Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.

• Minimum of 3-4 years of management experience in the fitness industry or a related field.

• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations and driving business results.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fitness management software (e.g., Glofox, Gymsale) is a plus.
