Key Responsibilities
This role combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver transformational loyalty solutions. As Senior Consultant, you'll work with the Ellipsis team and clients to solve complex challenges, taking end-to-end ownership of specific deliverables. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving and client management skills. You'll leverage our proprietary Customer Science methodologies and frameworks while developing your expertise as a loyalty specialist.
1.Consulting engagements
- Consult on complex client projects with end-to-end accountability of specific workstreams or work packages, from strategic development and initial concepts to final recommendations.
- Proactively engage with client stakeholders at all levels, to present ideas, debate, provide solutions and recommendations.
- Lead the production of high-quality deliverables across the project, with solid ability to create high-quality presentation materials that tell the strategic story.
- Develop a deep understanding of client's industry, challenges and objectives.
- Proactively plan and facilitate client-facing activities, workshops, meetings.
- Manage multiple strategic client projects at one time, ensuring delivery to time and scope.
- Consistently apply Ellipsis IP and loyalty strategy frameworks (e.g. Return on Loyalty, Value Proposition Canvas and more) to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Clearly communicate and apply loyalty concepts in client contexts (e.g. translating loyalty strategy into actionable customer journeys or program designs).
- Work collaboratively, effectively delegating and directing the team to achieve high quality outcomes.
2.Insights and Modelling
- Develop, interpret and present business insights.
- Conduct and present detailed data analysis and financial modelling.
- Conduct research and assembling best practices and innovations using Ellipsis IP.
- Collaborate with the broader Ellipsis team to integrate insights into the wider engagement structure and storyline.
3.Business development
- Help develop proposals and promote Ellipsis products and services.
- Be a key contributor to the business development pipeline through networking, building and nurturing connections – with existing clients and prospects.
- Actively support marketing activities e.g. events, publications, blog posts, LinkedIn activity to build our loyalty profile and your personal brand.
- Proactively deliver thought leadership to the industry, across social media, events and speaking opportunities.
4.Knowledge development
- Provide advanced expertise and knowledge of loyalty market, principals and technology.
- Stay up to date on market trends and developments.
- Support the continual development of the Ellipsis proposition and build on Ellipsis IP.
- Be a world-class loyalty expert by being abreast of industry and program developments.
- Be a leader internally within Ellipsis. Set standards of expertise and professionalism. Motivate, coach and influence other team members.
Your Skills and Experience
We base our recommendations on extensive expertise in the industries we serve, balancing creativity with data insights in our strategy development. Our consultants are curious, data-drive problem solvers.
Qualifications
Strong academic qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in strategy consulting, customer strategy, Loyalty or related disciplines, at a senior (or equivalent) level.
- Proven track record managing complex client challenges and delivering strategic, results-driven recommendations.
- Experience with the application of problem-solving and structuring techniques (e.g. First Principles Thinking, Hypothesis Based Problem Solving, the Pyramid Principle).
- Advanced proficiency at data analysis and financial modelling.
- Experience and confidence in producing high-quality strategies and client presentations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable managing demands and expectations of internal and client stakeholders.
Character attributes
Good commercial mindset, essential to combine numeracy with strong business acumen.

- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
- Positive and creative approach to problem solving.

Be an engaged member of Loyalty and Rewards programs with deep knowledge on how to get the most value out of them
- Advanced proficiency in data modelling (e.g. advanced Excel, SQL, R/Python)
