As the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for all management accounting activities including month-end accounting, preparation of management reports and budgeting & forecasting across our operations.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will include:

  • Month-end accounting including journals and reconciliations.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Preparation of Cashflow forecast.
  • Interface and integration with the construction and operation teams to ensure accuracy of reported information.
  • Reviewing transactions processed by AP team to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Preparing the annual budget and rolling forecasts, supporting the consolidation into the Group's Corporate financial model.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to inform and support key commercial decision.

About you

As a seasoned professional with a strong attention to detail, you will have:

  • Professional accounting qualification CPA/CA
  • Relevant professional experience within ASX listed company/s
  • Experience with a range of cost reporting applications
  • Strong experience in various business taxation processes, e.g. GST, PAYG, FBT
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards
  • Experience in understanding complex financial reports
  • Detailed understanding of Financial Systems
  • Superior Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel) and financial modelling skills
