About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Practice Manager to lead our fantastic team of highly experienced doctors, registered nurses and administrative team members at Ochre Medical Centre Boggabri

Location: Ochre Medical Centre Boggabri

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Practice provides best practice primary health care to the community
  • Ensure process and systems are in accordance with National Standards for Accreditation
  • Manage team performance of practice clinical and non-clinical employees
  • Source and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, health providers, and community organisations
  • Develop and implement a practice business plan which will enhance further an already high standard of patient health outcomes while driving financial sustainability

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in management (any industry, ideally 3 – 5+ years' experience working with multidisciplinary teams will be highly regarded)
  • Experience in financial management and reporting processes
  • Good working knowledge of the Medicare Schedule
  • Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of Team members and contractors
  • Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
