About the role

This is a leadership role for someone who can make things move and grow.

As Depot Manager for Tamworth, you'll take ownership of a well-established operation and lead it into its next phase of growth.

You'll keep deliveries running safely and efficiently while also driving local sales, growing bottle volumes, and strengthening relationships with customers across Tamworth, Armidale and the surrounding region.

It's a mix of planning, people, and performance

What you'll do
  • Lead and support a small, close-knit team delivering Summer Springs water across Tamworth and Armidale (3 direct reports).
  • Plan delivery schedules and coordinate day-to-day logistics for efficiency and service reliability with the support of the admin team.
  • Manage depot operations, stock control, vehicle maintenance, and site presentation.
  • Support onboarding, training, and safety compliance for your team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local business customers.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Dubbo head office on scheduling, reporting, and customer service.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to grow the Summer Springs customer base locally.
What you'll bring
  • NSW MR driver's licence (essential) and forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in team leadership, logistics, or delivery operations.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Confident using phone and tablet apps, route planning and basic reporting systems.
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and proactive.
  • Prior experience in sales or territory management (highly regarded).

The role is based in our Tamworth depot with regular travel across the local region, including Gunnedah, Quirindi, Armidale, Walcha, Glen Innes, and Inverell, plus semi-regular travel to Dubbo for meetings and training.
