Height Safety and access for workers for maintenance is a fast-developing trade section within the commercial sector of the building industry. It is specialized and encompasses a variety of products and fixtures specific to building access.

Unlike many in the industry, we don't just install pre-built items from a workshop.

We design and construct tailored solutions on-site insitu to suit each building's specific access requirements and comply with the safety needs of workers who use those systems through WorkSafe WA regulations.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking qualified Carpenters and Roof Plumbers to join our growing install team in permanent roles.

We are looking at training applicates in the installation and construction of stairs, ladders, roof hatches, platforms and general roof access fixtures.

So, if you're a skilled and reliable tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving and building quality outcomes, this could be your opportunity to work in a clean, professionally supported environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Installing aluminium components that form part of Kattsafe' s roof access and safety systems
• Thinking through job-specific challenges such as stairs, landings and ladders and delivering a tailored roof access solution for the building.
• And ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and WA codes of practice

What We Are Looking For:

• Trade qualification or apprentices
• Applicants must be 3rd or 4th year apprentices or qualified tradespeople
• People who are Reliable and Self-Motivated with good on-site decision-making skills
• People who are Comfortable working at heights
• People who are Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• Previous experience in height safety systems would be a bonus – but not essential
• Australian citizens and permanent residents only
