About Us

We're an established and respected event hire company with a strong reputation across Western Australia for reliability and service. Our team delivers everything from weddings and private functions to corporate activations and large-scale events, with a fleet of trucks, marquees, and event infrastructure. We're entering an exciting growth and transformation period, modernising systems, expanding our team, and improving the way we operate — and we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team in this exciting process.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role managing all aspects of warehouse, logistics, and onsite event operations. You'll oversee the site team, manage crew scheduling, fleet movements, and inventory — ensuring our gear, trucks, and people are in the right place at the right time. You'll lead a tight-knit operations team, drive efficiency, and maintain the high service standards our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise site, warehouse and yard staff
  • Plan and coordinate daily deliveries, installations, and collections
  • Manage crew scheduling and truck and equipment scheduling for event bump-ins/bump-outs
  • Oversee quality, stock control, maintenance, and asset tracking
  • Maintain WHS compliance and lead a strong safety culture
  • Collaborate with the sales and client teams to ensure smooth event delivery and client satisfaction
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Identify process and inventory improvements and help drive business excellence

About You

You're a practical, organised leader who thrives in a busy, changing environment. You know how to balance people, trucks, and equipment — and can bring calm, structure, and confidence to your team. You'll be comfortable on the tools when required and understand the unique challenges of the event hire or marquee industry.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management
  • Background in event hire, marquee hire, or construction logistics (preferred)
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Solid understanding of scheduling, fleet management, and inventory systems
  • Hands-on attitude with strong problem-solving skills

  • HR Driver's Licence
  • Forklift Licence
  • Manitou / Telehandler Ticket
  • White Card
