Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using Business Intelligence (BI) and dashboards, and analyzing large data sets.
- Ability to work and succeed in a fluid and an ambiguous environment.
- Excellent collaboration skills, and ability to work with people from a range of backgrounds and experience.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.
- Strong focus on execution and getting things done, balancing quality with speed.
About The Job
The Go-to-Market (GTM) team is the trusted sounding board for the Australia New Zealand leadership team. We are a team who can solve complex problems and bring strategies to life while ensuring that the business runs flawlessly. We help shape the future through go-to-market strategy, power the business through seamless operational excellence and grow leaders. Team members are strategic and analytical, with the ability to execute quickly and get things done.
As a Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will provide business critical insights and recommendations that support decision making, cross-functional alignment of goals and expectations, and drive/help teams to execute plans and operate.
In this role, you will respond to problem statements raised by the local leadership team via hypothesis generation, analyzing information, assessing potential options, and putting forward recommendations.
You will help to set the focus, pace, and direction of our business across AUNZ Large Customer Sales and unite teams to deliver on Google's most important business opportunities by supporting, challenging, and enabling our sales organization.
Responsibilities
- Draw interpretable insights from sophisticated business analyses and advanced modeling.
- Design processes, tools, and operating cadences to achieve organizational outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive sales, product or business strategies that solve complex business challenges and address the needs of customers and stakeholders across various functions to drive incremental growth.
- Communicate data-driven recommendations to leadership and to the broader organization in structured presentations, identifying key takeaways.
- Define actionable plans and roadmaps and align cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful implementation of change initiatives.
