What you'll be doing
We are looking for a Business Analyst to undertake business and technical analysis, business process improvement, relationship management, scoping and estimating activities for relevant and assigned projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and document ICT business and system requirements
- Proactively manage key stakeholder relationships by utilising a range of structured research and analysis techniques including, but not limited to, facilitated workshops, client meetings, surveys, interviews and industry reference reviews as required to;
- develop end-to-end service mappings
- define as-is and to-be business processes, and ensure improved outcomes
- manage client expectations, in a limited resource development environment with competing priorities
- Takes responsibility for ensuring traceability is mapped and agreed for all business benefits through to system requirements
- Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine optimal business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
- Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business processes and system functionality and behaviour.
- Creating user and training documentation and conducting formal training classes.
- Developing functional specifications for use by system developers.
- Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software.
Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision-making process.
Working Conditions:
- Employment Type – Permanent full time
- Office Location – Sydney, Brisbane and / or Melbourne
- Travel Opportunities – Occasional business travel, nationally.

- Prior Business Analysis experience
- Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to effectively recognise and adapt to change
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High level of enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and highly self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
