About the role:

We are seeking a highly ambitious and strategic
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Lead
to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital, you will be the architect of our AI visibility strategy. Your mission will be to ensure that when millions of users ask AI platforms like Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews for supplement advice, True Protein is the top recommended brand. This is a pivotal role designed to future-proof our digital presence and cement our position as the most trusted name in the industry.

Core Responsibilities:

• Architect and Execute a Pioneering GEO Strategy:
  You will develop and own the roadmap for increasing True Protein's visibility, share-of-voice and positive sentiment across all major AI-powered search and chat platforms.
• Dominate the Narrative through Digital PR & Outreach:
  Spearhead a targeted strategy to secure high-value placements, authentic reviews, and positive mentions on the authoritative comparison blogs, affiliate sites, forums (like Reddit) and publications that heavily influence AI language models.
• Fortify Brand Authority (E-E-A-T):
  Systematically build and amplify True Protein's digital Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust (E-E-A-T) signals. You will work to get our brand and products cited by credible sources and associated with expert-backed nutritional information.
• Lead Technical & Content Optimization:
  Guide the optimisation of existing content and the creation of new, intent-driven assets that directly answer the conversational questions users ask AI. You will ensure our site architecture, structured data, and schema markup are best-in-class for AI comprehension.
• Analysis, Monitoring & Reporting:
  Establish a sophisticated monitoring framework to track our visibility, brand mentions, and ranking within AI-generated results. You will deliver actionable insights and reports on performance to key stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Serve as the internal GEO expert, working seamlessly with our SEO, Content, PR, and Influencer teams to ensure a unified and consistent brand narrative across all digital touchpoints.

What you'll bring to the team:

• You have
  3-5+ years of experience
  in a role focused on SEO, Content Strategy, or Digital PR, with a proven track record of achieving top-tier organic visibility.
• You have
  deep, hands-on expertise
  with AI platforms (Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) and a sophisticated understanding of how they source, process, and present information.
• You have
  demonstrable success in digital PR and strategic outreach
  , with a portfolio of placements on high-authority blogs, news sites, or affiliate publications.
• You possess a
  mastery of SEO fundamentals
  , including structured data, schema markup, and the principles of E-E-A-T.
• You are a
  superb communicator and writer
  , capable of crafting compelling, intent-driven content and building strong relationships with external publishers.
• You are
  data-driven and analytical
  , with an obsessive eye for detail and a passion for staying on the cutting edge of digital search trends.
• A Tertiary Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but your proven experience and strategic mindset are what matter most.
