About the Role

Working alongside a small, professional engineering team you will be a key contact for traffic operations and road safety related matters and provide high level technical advice. You will provide appropriate solutions for a wide range of internal and external customers and provide contributions towards several committees including the Ryde Local Transport Forum and the Sport, Recreation and Leisure Working Group.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil or equivalent) or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum three (3) years post qualification experience as a Traffic Engineer (within Australia).
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant industry standards relating to "traffic"
  • Experience undertaking independent traffic related investigations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Strong time management skills with proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to achieve deadlines
  • High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Applications
  • Current driver's licence
  • Australian/ NZ permanent resident or citizen

Your commencing annual salary will range from $97,705.48 to $107, civil liability allowance + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
