The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused MC Licensed Truck Drivers to join our team across New South Wales and Queensland. This role involves the transport of livestock and/or bulk freight on regional and interstate routes, using well-maintained, modern equipment. Training can be provided for drivers new to livestock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MC vehicles including B-doubles and road trains
  • Safely load, transport, and unload livestock in line with welfare standards and company protocols
  • Carry out pre-start checks and complete vehicle condition reports
  • Follow all NHVR, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Maintain clear communication with operations regarding job status and delivery timelines
  • Ensure vehicles and trailers are kept clean and compliant, especially when handling livestock
  • Work safely around stockyards, ramps, and customer sites
  • Represent Martin's Stock Haulage professionally at all times
Skills & Experience
  • Current MC Licence (minimum 2 years experience preferred)
  • Livestock transport experience highly regarded – training available for suitable applicants
  • Strong understanding of NHVR regulations and fatigue obligations
  • Confident logbook user with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and capable of livestock handling and yard work
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights and weekends
