Racecourse Projects is a large-scale Cane Farming Operation in the Mackay region.  We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, safety conscious B-Double drivers for the 2025 Cane Crushing Season, with opportunities available commencing immediately and continuing after the season.

The job involves transporting sugar cane in 12-hour shifts (dawn til dusk) from the farms to rail sidings for the duration of the crushing season. Our Prime Movers are late model Auto and Manual Kenworths in excellent condition.

These are based from our Clairview site, with single-quarter accommodation available.

Key requirements:

  • Current and valid MC truck license with a responsible driving history (must supply driver history report).
  • Demonstrate a minimum 2 year's MC driving experience.
  • Be able to pass a full pre-employment Medical which will include a Drug & Alcohol screen.
  • Be willing to complete Sugar mill siding inductions.
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
  • Be reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
  • Be willing to undertake daily maintenance.
