Position Overview:

As the Site Supervisor, your core responsibilities include leading residential construction projects in regional and metro areas, managing trades, and ensuring projects meet high-quality standards within budget and timelines. You will enforce safety protocols, contribute to process improvements, and leverage your network for an efficient trade base.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Construction of Basement experience required
  • Managing  projects in Melbourne, to budget, on time, and meeting quality expectations.
  • Coordination of trades, suppliers, and subcontractors for seamless collaboration and timely completion.
  • Actively manage build progress against milestones and provide accurate forecasting, including updating Onsite Companion to provide real-time project updates.
  • Ensuring adherence to project documentation and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Monitoring project expenditures, implementing proactive cost control measures.
  • Implementing strong OH&S principles to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Drawing from previous experience working with a volume residential builder.
  • Utilizing your trade background, preferably in Carpentry.
  • Demonstrating excellent communication and management skills.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Enforcing stringent quality control measures.
  • Troubleshooting site issues and resolving them promptly.
  • Collaborating with the project team to address design or technical challenges.
  • Contributing to enhancing company procedures and processes.

Qualifications & Key Attributes:

  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in site supervision and/or project management.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a recognized builder in Victoria.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to adapt.
  • A trade base.
  • Proficiency in Wunderbuild or similar software is advantageous.
