Regional Manager - Northern Tasmania

Roadways Group is a leading Tasmanian civil construction and road maintenance business. Established in 1964, they have delivered quality surfacing, pavement marking, safety barrier and civil works for over 60 years, and are now seeking a Regional Manager to lead their Northern Tasmania operations.

Reporting to the COO, the Regional Manager is responsible for a regional operation valued at 10 to 15 million dollars per annum. The position oversees a team of more than 20 supervisors, engineers and operational staff and carries accountability for safety, profitability and client satisfaction. The role combines contract acquisition and delivery with operational leadership, stakeholder engagement and the prudent management of plant, fleet and capital planning.

To succeed, you will bring at least ten years of leadership experience in civil construction or a contract-driven environment, with a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. Strong commercial judgement, tendering and pricing experience, and the capacity to build high-performing, safety-first teams are essential. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management or business will be highly regarded, along with direct experience in road surfacing, pavement marking or road maintenance.
