Your Role:

Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager - NSW Schools, you will be responsible for the delivery of minor capital works projects & works programs including planned preventative & lifecycle maintenance across their NSW Schools Public Private Partnership contract. This will include developing feasibility studies, price estimates, schedules, and facilitating co-design groups where required

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the project scope definition & changes and coordinating design development according to the NSW Educational Facilities Standards & Guidelines
  • Coordinating the appointment of consultants & running competitive procurement or tender processes
  • Contributing to internal & client reporting including preparation of progress & operations reports, minutes, agendas, and presentations at monthly client meetings
  • Ensuring contractual KPIs & Minimum Performance Standards in relation to the development of feasibility studies & project delivery are achieved

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management
  • Previous practical experience in a Project Management role within a related sector i.e. construction etc. and knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) rules & regulations | Australian Standards for the Building industry
  • Well-developed negotiation, organisational, & internal | external stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors & governance; financial | budget management; applying effective risk management; and delivering outcomes against a performance-based contract framework
  • Driver licence & ability to travel to school sites as required
