Victoria (the Federation) is a fast-paced and dynamic for-purpose organisation that leads and supports excellence in the community legal sector, promotes the purpose and value of Community Legal Centres, and advances social justice and a fair legal system. It is the peak body for Victoria's 50 Community Legal Centres (CLCs), who are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by legal challenges. You'll provide expert and confidential advice, coaching and support to Federation managers and staff, ensuring best practice approaches across the employee lifecycle.

You'll work across all elements of the people and culture function, including delivering organisational culture initiatives, workforce planning and recruitment, drafting and reviewing policies to meet compliance and governance obligations, supporting wellbeing, and implementing effective performance and development processes.

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to draft high-quality documentation.
  • An ability to think strategically while considering practical solutions and perspectives.

The Federation is committed to building a diverse workforce and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, people from culturally and racially marginalised and refugee backgrounds, people of all ages, neurodivergent people, gender diverse people and members of LGBTIQA+ communities.
