As the Cook at our Macquarie Park Centre you will be responsible for planning and implementing a nutritious, fresh exciting menu. You will provide high quality, nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment.

About you

You will be a passionate, motivated and skilled cook with a special interest in children's nutrition, inspiring a positive mealtime experience as well as healthy eating habits for children.

Part Time - Monday to Friday 6 hours

About the team

SDN Macquarie Park is a purpose-built 90-place long day care centre and preschool, providing high quality care and learning in a safe and welcoming space that supports the inclusion of every child. Centrally located on a quiet street in Macquarie Park, this newly renovated centre has been refurbished with design principles and concepts of inclusion and neurodiversity in mind.

The outdoor space at this custom-built centre provides safe and stimulating environments for children to explore and learn and includes a bike track, sand pit and water play area. The open plan playground also includes a sensory area set into a landscaped garden which encouraging learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. There is a dedicated Autism Specific Program, specially designed for more intensive and targeted support for autistic children. This program is for children 4-5 years old with a diagnosis of autism and to support their transition to school.

The centre also has a room for therapists to deliver therapy to children with a focus on building capacity of their families.
