A market-leading International hospitality group is seeking an
Employment lawyer on a part-time basis
to join its Sydney office.

Position Description
Reporting to the
Head of People
, you will play a key role in overseeing employment law, compliance, and workplace relations across multiple jurisdictions including Australia, Asia, and Europe.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Employment Law Strategy & Policy Development
– Oversee and enhance employment-related frameworks and governance. - Compliance & Business Process Management
– Ensure compliance across all operating regions. - Employment Relations Advice & Coaching
– Provide practical guidance to HR and management teams. - Negotiation & Dispute Management
– Support the business in managing disputes and workplace issues. - Workplace Planning & Change Management
– Partner with the People team on organisational change initiatives. - Project Leadership
– Manage and contribute to employment-related strategic projects.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 4 years' employment law experience
, ideally gained within a leading firm or in-house environment. - Experience in
industrial relations
, including working with unions and employee representatives. - Strong understanding of employment contracts, workplace policies, investigations, and performance management.
- Exposure to
litigation and dispute management
. - Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- A collaborative, commercial mindset with the ability to operate confidently across diverse jurisdictions.
This is a
part-time role (3–4 days per week)
offering excellent flexibility within a supportive, well-established team.
