About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a friendly and supportive kitchen team in regional Victoria. With a salary of $70-80K (depending on experience), you'll enjoy the option of a 4-day working week and access to significantly reduced rental accommodation close to the venue. Ideal for chefs with at least 3 years' experience working across classic pub or club-style menus, this role offers the chance to showcase your skills in a stable environment while achieving real work-life balance.

Position Description

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality meals across the bistro and function service
  • Assist with prep, service, and plating in busy periods
  • Manage ordering, stock rotation, and supplier coordination as required
  • Uphold food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with classic pub or club-style menus
  • Trade qualification (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Team-focused attitude with good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
