Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Producer and Editor that will be responsible for planning, shooting, and producing high-quality racing content, including interviews, race-day coverage, promotional videos, and feature segments for use across live broadcasts, marketing campaigns, events, and other initiatives. You will operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment—such as Sony FX6-level systems—while self-directing shoots to ensure polished visuals and sound. You'll work closely with editors and designers to source graphics, music, and archival footage, crafting compelling narratives that align with brand tone and audience expectations.
You will represent the RacingWA brand with professionalism in all interactions, building strong relationships with industry stakeholders, partners, and audiences. Collaboration with RWWA's Racing Marketing Department will ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all content.
Creative collaboration is a key part of the position, working with producers, creatives, and stakeholders to interpret briefs and translate them into strong visual stories. Effective workflow management and clear communication with internal teams and external clients will help ensure smooth production processes. This role requires a solution-focused mindset, flexibility in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to quickly respond to evolving briefs, breaking stories, and live event requirements.
QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in live television outside broadcasts in racing / live sports
- Proficiency in media production within the Corporate, Advertising, Training or Live Events Industries
- Ability to operate high-end broadcast cameras to capture professional, polished footage.
- Experience with live Audio and lighting setup for studio and field shoots
- Strong capability across Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder.
- Ability to use motion graphics and light VFX integration
