The business is currently looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join their finance team
The Opportunity:
As the Payroll Officer, you will be tasked with supporting payroll system ugrades as well as supporting the payroll function across the group with a weekly payroll of 350+ employees. You'll ensure their employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining precise records and supporting key financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll systems upgrade
- Process improvement
- Support end-to-end weekly payroll for all entities using ADP
- Ensure accuracy across timesheets, leave balances, employee details, and salary records
- Partner with HR to maintain the Employee Masterfile
- Handle financial reporting and month-end payroll functions
- Ensure compliance with statutory payroll, taxation, and legal obligations
- Respond to internal and external payroll queries with confidence and care
- Identify and implement process improvements across payroll operations
You Bring:
- 5+ years of full-function payroll experience
- Strong Award interpretation capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level)
- Experience with ADP and Kronos Realtime systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity
- A collaborative spirit and passion for payroll excellence
