Our core business is providing mobile patrols, alarm responses and guard services throughout the western suburbs of Sydney. Velox Security office is located in Seven Hills NSW. The office is manned 24/7 by experienced Call Centre Operators to support the Operational team.

The Role

We have multiple positions available for experienced mobile patrol officers working on a casual, part time and permanent basis working 12 hours shifts. Th role includes conducting scheduled and adhoc mobile patrols and emergency alarm responses.

The Task

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Responding to alarm activations in accordance with a specified time
  • Incident report writing and using internal applications for patrol verification
  • Conduct lockups andPerimeter checks
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports
  • Navigating between sites in a timely manner

Essential Criteria

· Working 12 hours shifts, inclusive of weekends and public holidays

· Ability to work in Australia with no restrictions

· Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence

· Hold a current unrestricted Drivers Licence

· Previous experience in mobile patrols

· Current First Aid Certificate

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language

· Ability to use electronic applications

Remuneration

Remuneration will be paid based on the experience, knowledge and skillset
