AIM Mining Corporation is an emerging gold development company with big plans underway. We currently operate the Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and are now preparing to ramp up operations at our high grade Blue Spec gold and antimony project.

We are powering up two brand new underground production mines and we are on the lookout for a skilled Underground Electrician to help make it happen. If you are looking for more than just maintenance work - if you want to be part of building something from the ground up - this is your chance.

You will be joining a fast moving, ambitious team where your skills will be valued, your input will be heard and your contribution will have a direct impact on our success.

Our Underground Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing electrical infrastructure and equipment critical to underground mining operations.

This role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, fly in fly out from Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of underground electrical systems and infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct statutory testing, inspections and compliance checks on all underground electrical equipment.
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics, logs and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with mining regulations, site procedures and Australian standards.
  • Respond to breakdowns and support urgent repair needs across the underground operations.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical, production and engineering teams to support operational targets.
  • Participate in risk assessments, JHAs and contribute to ongoing safety improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in reliability, efficiency and energy use.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Electrical Trade Certificate (A grade Electrician or equivalent)
  • Certificate in Instrumentation
  • HV Switching Ticket
  • Experience in underground or heavy industrial electrical maintenance
  • Sound knowledge of Australian electrical and mining safety regulations
  • Strong fault finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
