About the Role:

This is a sought-after entry level production/assembly technician role at a well-established market leader that manufactures and delivers niche commercial and industrial door systems.

* No experience needed - just a have good attitude and know your way around hand tools.

* NO Formal qualifications required.

Classification of position:

This is a permanent full time position working Day Shift with overtime available. In addition, we are offering the opportunity to develop a long-term career with a renowned leader, a competitive remuneration package along with a great place to work

The Role:

As a Production Assistant, you will be part of a team that assists with the assembly of products designed by our engineering team and manufactured in our Sydney Factory, located in Girraween.

You will be reporting to, and working closely with the Production Manager, and must enjoy working with your hands on a diverse range of products.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

Will include the following:

  • Assembling products and components in the factory
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and power tools
  • Read and interpret manufacturing job sheets
  • Produce goods accurately
  • Rotate through a variety of different roles
  • Prioritize work, keep tools maintained, and keep work areas tidy
  • Receiving & dispatching goods
  • Factory improvements
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • You may also be required to work off-site and assist field technicians from time to time.
