What's the role?
We're looking for a Credit Manager to join our Property VIC Credit team, supporting commercial lending decisions for property clients across Victoria. You'll be responsible for assessing and approving credit transactions, structuring deals, and maintaining sound credit quality across a diverse portfolio of property investors, developers, and owner-builders.
You'll work independently from relationship management, providing expert advice and ensuring credit decisions align with policy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements.
What do I need?
This role suits somebody who has:
- Strong banking/financial services experience with at least three- five years' experience in approving credit transactions for Property clients and preferably, previous front-line relationship banking experience.
- A tertiary degree in business, finance, accounting, or property.
- Sound business acumen with a commercial approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- A passion for supporting property focussed clients (both investors & developers, including owner builders).
