The Role
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Line Operators to join our fast-paced production team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring product quality, and ensuring smooth line performance. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Following production schedules to ensure timely completion and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Operating machinery efficiently, including troubleshooting, assembling and disassembling equipment, cleaning, and performing routine maintenance.
  • Supervising a small crew, managing meal breaks, providing on-the-job training, and assigning tasks on the production line.
  • Completing essential paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborating closely with the supervisory team to resolve issues and provide feedback on production processes.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, high-quality food production environment, with production lines capable of producing approximately 20,000 pies per hour.
The Person
  • Previous experience in running a line or industrial crew (Manufacturing experience preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills combined with fast decision making abilities.
  • Basic mechanical understanding line ie follow a manual or simple mechanical drawing.
  • Year 10 or above or trade qualifications (highly desired).
  • Able to lead a small team and be committed to producing quality products.
  • Strong work ethic and able to lead calmly and safely to get the job done.
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks, prolonged periods of standing, repetitive assembly work and occasional use of manual handling equipment – Pallet Jacks, Walkie Stackers, etc.
  • Must have full Australian work rights
  • Must hold a current Drivers Licence and have reliable transport
