Are you passionate about helping others build confidence, independence, and connection? Sibella Care is looking for dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team. You'll play a vital role supporting people with complex mental health needs and psychosocial disabilities to achieve their goals, develop new skills, and take part in community life.

What You'll Be Doing:- Support participants to work towards their individual NDIS goals and build independence.
- Design and facilitate engaging, safe, and person-centred activities.
- Conduct and update risk assessments to ensure all activities are safe and well-structured.
- Collaborate with our Head Coordinator for Community & Centre-Based Day Programs to plan schedules and creative programs.
- Provide one-on-one and group support in community and day program settings.
- Maintain accurate records, daily notes, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Approach every interaction with empathy, professionalism, and respect for individual values.
- Assist in promoting Sibella Care's programs and contributing to positive referrals.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience working in mental health, psychosocial, or community support (minimum 2 years desirable).
- Strong risk assessment and behavioural support skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Understanding of the NDIS and how to support participants to use their plans effectively.

Driver's licence and access to a reliable car
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NSW Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
