The Mission

Mindset Health is building the foundation model of psychophysiology — powering clinically proven digital therapies that help people heal their bodies by changing their minds.

Our first product,
Nerva
, has already helped over 300,000 people manage IBS symptoms using gut-brain hypnotherapy with 81% reporting meaningful improvement in a randomised controlled trial. Now, we're taking the next leap: applying AI to deliver truly personalised mind–body therapy at a global scale.

We're looking for an
AI Engineer
to help build a
multi-agent LLM architecture
that learns, adapts, and delivers personalised therapeutic experiences for millions of users. This isn't chatbot work — this is AI as digital medicine.

What You'll Do

  • Design and train LLMs
    — fine-tune open-source and frontier models for personalised digital therapeutics.
  • Build multi-agent architectures
    that coordinate expert models to deliver targeted health protocols.
  • Productionise AI systems
    — from experimentation through deployment using strong MLOps practices.
  • Optimise performance & cost
    — balance commercial scalability with state-of-the-art outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    — work with product, clinicians, and engineers to ensure our AI feels human, not robotic.
  • Shape the foundation
    of Mindset Health's AI platform, influencing technical direction, standards, and future hires.

You'll Bring

  • 18+ months of commercial LLM experience, with real-world fine-tuning and deployment (not just API integration).
  • Expertise in LLM training, fine-tuning, and evaluation, including instruction-tuning and context engineering.
  • Proven understanding of MLOps and end-to-end AI production pipelines.
  • Strong cost optimisation and scaling experience (GPU/TPU management, quantisation, inference efficiency).
  • Collaborative mindset and clear communication — able to explain, influence, and simplify complex ideas.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with real-time voice models, generative speech, or conversational UX.
  • Experience building or orchestrating multi-agent or modular AI systems.
