We're looking for a fun, caring and energetic role model to help create a safe, welcoming environment for children.

Join our team at St Eugene's Out of Hours Care in Burpengary on a casual basis and make a meaningful difference each day.

Located within St Eugene's College, our service provides before school, after school and vacation care for up to 135 children from Prep to Year 6. With access to the school's excellent facilities, we offer a rich, engaging environment where children can learn, play and grow.

One of our favourite activities is time spent in our community garden—digging, planting and connecting with nature alongside the children.

Casual shifts are available, with a strong focus on afternoon care on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Previous childcare experience would be beneficial.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
