Admin Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Allocations and Finance Manager, this position provides essential administrative support across allocations, compliance, and finance functions.
This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Allocations and Finance Manager.
 - Assist with daily driver and vehicle allocations, job scheduling, and data entry.
 - Daily entry of drivers' load counts and their time in and out.
 - Assist in inductions for new jobs, ensuring all paperwork and compliance requirements are completed.
 - Follow up on overdue payments and assist with general finance-related queries.
 - Assist in preparing and maintaining weekly reports for management review.
 - Maintain accurate compliance records, including licences, vehicle registrations, and maintenance schedules.
 - Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams to support daily operations.
 - Prepare and file transport documents such as delivery dockets, invoices, and compliance reports.
 - Support audits and ensure adherence to company and regulatory compliance standards.
 - Manage incoming calls and emails related to allocations, compliance, and administration.
