  • Be at the centre of high profile, prestigious events
  • Supportive, Fun, and Friendly Team Culture
  • Career Growth and Learning Opportunities

About Us
Canon is the world's leading imaging organisation. As a Fortune 500 Company, we actively inspire people with imaginative ideas that enable you to connect, communicate and achieve more than you thought possible. When you join Canon Australia, you'll find a rewarding culture that values you. You're empowered to focus on your career progression and turn your goals into reality. You'll be an integral part of the group's success.

About The Role
Join Canon's Brand & Growth team and help bring our brand to life through standout experiences. Based in Macquarie Park, Sydney, with occasional travel throughout Australia, you'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of events, activations and sponsorships, working closely with the Experiential Manager to make sure every detail is on‑brand, well‑executed and measured for impact.

Scope of the role includes:

  • Coordinate logistics, timelines and supplier management for partnership, event and sponsorship activity, meeting scope, budget and safety requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams and agencies to develop event assets and memorable audience experiences.
  • Manage onsite operations, documentation and budgets; support post‑event reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Champion brand, legal, safety and privacy compliance across all activities.
  • Represent the Canon brand with prestigious, high‑profile partners, with some travel within Australia to support key events.
  • Be part of a fun, vibrant and friendly team with lots of exciting high‑profile events ahead.

About You
This role is perfect for someone at the early stages of their events career who is eager to learn and grow while taking ownership in a dynamic, collaborative setting. You'll need to be highly organised, proactive, and skilled at building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple projects with composure under pressure, coordinate logistics and budgets with keen attention to detail is key. You have superb communication skills, and you know how to liaise effectively with internal teams, agencies, and partners alike. You understand the importance of representing the Canon brand with pride and your understanding of brand storytelling and your passion for creating memorable audience experiences will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Confidence in representing the Canon brand with high-profile partners and a willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand for key events are important attributes. While not mandatory, it's advantageous to have a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or event management, along with experience in sponsorship activation or brand partnerships and familiarity with safety and risk management for live events. A genuine enthusiasm for imaging and creativity would make you an excellent fit for the team.
