Description:

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our Brisbane Closures / Studies Team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, providing strong exposure to civil and environmental engineering in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

What you'll be doing

Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Provide technical input into design, procurement, and construction activities.

Monitor project progress and report on performance against scope, cost, and schedule.

Support risk assessments, quality control, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and reports.

Assist in resolving technical issues and implementing engineering solutions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned reviews.

Skills and Experiences:

What we're looking for

Civil Engineering degree (or related discipline)

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

2–5 years' experience in engineering and project delivery, preferably in construction, mining, or heavy industry.

Strong understanding of project management processes and technical standards.

Proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Valid driver's licence
