Sales Engineer - HVAC Solutions | Brisbane (WFH)
Join a well-established national organisation recognised as a trusted brand within the HVAC industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Sales Engineer or HVAC professional who enjoys a mix of business development and account management.
This role offers full flexibility to work from home while remaining connected to clients across Queensland. You'll meet with customers on-site, provide technical expertise, and develop tailored solutions that align with their project requirements.
About the Role
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving growth through a combination of new business development (approx. 50%) and account management (approx. 50%). This is a consultative sales role, requiring a balance of technical understanding, relationship building, and commercial acumen.
You'll be working with a highly regarded product range in the HVAC space, supported by a strong brand reputation and a collaborative internal team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Prospect new customers and identify emerging market opportunities
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue targets
Engage with decision-makers to understand technical and commercial needs
Account Management
Nurture and grow existing customer relationships
Provide ongoing client support and identify opportunities for upselling
Deliver tailored solutions based on project requirements
Technical & Project Support
Review tender documents and prepare technical specifications and proposals
Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate delivery and project outcomes
Deliver product demonstrations and training as needed
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and forecasts
Contribute to continuous improvement and team initiatives
About You
Ideally degree-qualified in Engineering or similar discipline
Proven background in HVAC sales, technical account management, or engineering solutions
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-driven and target-focused, with a results-oriented approach
Comfortable managing a WFH schedule while regularly travelling to client sites
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
