This job description outlines a multifaceted role focused on managing quality control (QC) and testing activities for an infotainment system, especially for car navigation, ADAS, and telematics.

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer (Entry Level- Specialist) at Hyundai Autoever Australia.

Key points for this opening position

• Full-time contract (highly possible to be extended to permanent role)
• Entry Level or 1~2 years related experience only
• Newly created headcount in Navigation QC/QA (working along with 7 other team member)

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Manage QC Project and Testing Activities: Oversee the entire quality control process for the project, ensuring that testing is executed efficiently and meets established standards.
• Test Infotainment Systems: Conduct testing of car navigation systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and telematics, either in a lab environment or during on-road trials.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot Online Features: Oversee the performance of online features related to car navigation and Connected Car Services (CCS). Address technical issues, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Handle Local Technical Problems and VOCs: Manage and resolve technical challenges specific to the local region. Also, address and respond to feedback from customers (Voice of Customers - VOCs).
• Improve Local Service Quality: Collaborate with local service providers and customers to enhance service quality by addressing specific regional needs and making necessary improvements.
• Benchmarking Infotainment Systems: Lead comparative benchmarking tests for infotainment systems to ensure competitive quality and performance.
• Collaborate with International Teams: Work closely with quality testing engineers, software developers, and project managers based in South Korea to ensure alignment with the company's standards and project goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Educational Background:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a field related to automotive, mechatronics, electrical, electronics, or other relevant disciplines.

2. Driver's License:

• An Australian "FULL" driving license with a good driving record and experience is mandatory (Not Green P nor Red P license).
• The candidate should be enthusiastic about driving, as road driving tests in the Sydney area and other regions in Australia and New Zealand will be part of the daily routine.

3. Travel Requirements:

• Frequent travel for vehicle testing across Australia and New Zealand is required, including both short and extended business trips.

4. Availability:

• Flexibility to work during weekends and overtime for critical events when necessary.

5. Communication Skills:

• Strong communication skills are vital for interacting with customers, partners, and teams, particularly those in the Head Office in South Korea.
• Korean language proficiency is essential, as this will be key for communicating effectively with the head office.

6. Legal Right to Work:

• All candidates must provide valid evidence of their right to work in Australia (e.g., citizenship, permanent residency and include a partner visa only)
